Rates

The Country Cottage is best suited for one guest, although two guests are permitted. Rent is:

• $1,650 per month + GET & TAT (if applicable – see explanation below)

Other Fees

Cleaning/Security Deposit: A cleaning/security deposit is due at the time of booking. At the end of your stay, provided there are no damages or missing items and excessive cleaning is not required, this deposit is refundable within one week of checkout.

• $1,650 for monthly renters + GET

Renter Screening: Prior to confirming your reservation, a renter screening is required through KeyCheck. This “soft-pull” report will not harm your credit score or show up on your credit report. The screening includes criminal background check, credit check and eviction check. The cost for this is $39.99 and is paid to KeyCheck. A satisfactory report is required before a rental agreement will be issued. A signed rental agreement and deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

Airport Transportation: There is no additional charge for airport transportation to/from the Waimea Airport (MUE). Advanced scheduling required. Transportation to/from the Kona airport (advanced scheduling required) is:

• $50 each way + GET

Car: We have a 2018 Honda CRV available for rent. Proof of current insurance and valid drivers license is required.

• $750 + GET

Bicycle: We have a bicycle available for rent.

• $75 + GET

Taxes

• State & County General Excise Tax (GET) – 4.712%
  This tax is added to ALL charges/transactions (rent and other fees).
• State & County Transient Accommodation Tax (TAT) – 13.25%
  This tax applies only to rent for those who stay less than 6 months (less than 180 consecutive days).
